The company knowledge is build around 3 main skills that cover the whole process of mobile services design and deployment.

Java embedded and WAP mobile applications

The first business of the company is the development of applications on mobile devices. This activity is today, widely represented by J2ME development and Kuix framework, the Open Source project carried by the company. Kuix makes easier and faster to design high end applications with advanced user interface.

WAP portails and services design

The second part of the business is the mobile Internet and the associated WAP technologies. Kalmeo designs mobile portals, Wap applications and offers a downloading platform for embedded applications. To address the differences in devices capabilities, the company has build an information database that allow device identification and specification to reply to HTTP queries in the most appropriate format (ie. WML 1.x, xHTML mobile, HTML, etc.).
