Kalmeo has started its activities with a lead project for Ankama Games. Video gaming market involves several specificities - like advanced graphical interfaces with innovative shapes and design, performance requirement, etc. - and Kalmeo has initially organized its know-how around these constraints and can now access to many other markets.

DOFUSPocket

DOFUSPocket is a mobile application that enables DOFUS gamers to load several in-game information on their mobile phone. It includes a news aggregator (RSS format) that is able to synchronize data between the server and each user and an access to the game encyclopedia and its thousands monsters and items. Each service has been design according to mobile devices limitations to reduce service cost for users (data communications, low memory devices, etc.) and improve user experience.

For devices that are not Java compliant, a WAP edition has been release to enable a WML or xHTML access from embedded Internet phone navigators.

DOFUS Mobile Portal

DOFUS Mobile Portal is website compatible with both Internet and Wap browsers at the same time (ie. desktop and mobile devices). A dedicated component detects the device against a database and delivers the content within the most appropriate format.

Besides the technical skills needed to create a multi-standard website, Kalmeo has implemented an application downloading platform to help DOFUSPocket users to install right application version on their device even if they don't know the technical capabilities of their device.
