Mobile applications
To make easier the design of embedded applications, Kalmeo has implemented a Java ME application framework called Kuix, that facilitate the development of hi end graphical user interfaces. It uses a couple of XML and CSS files to describe the GUI and its associated user actions. Kuix manages all applications events and screen sequence so that developers can efficiently focus on business parts of the application.
Kuix addresses many needs since it has been designed for multimedia applications environment where many constraints exists (hi performance, low memory and limited CPU). In addition, Kuix improves hardware abstraction by solving several implementation inconsistencies between Java virtual Machines. Therefor, a Kuix powered application is more widely compliant across mobile devices than basic Java ME application.
